"I- it's- hard. To remember. I get- flashes. Sometimes. Of- of things feeling- almost familiar. But-"

"They were not strong enough to fight her hold. I see."

"Her, Sir Auron?"

"Something you will learn."

Auron sits beside Yuna, taking a meditative pose.

-He knows about her? How does he know? He forces himself smaller, when what he wants to do is lash out, to hurt, to protect himself. (Except Auron seemed to decry her? It didn't make any sense.)

"She is the Guardian of the Final Aeon. You will meet her soon enough."

"You...remember meeting her, Sir Auron?"

"Yes. And I will remember you meeting her too."

Aten doesn't quite shudder. (His memories are hazy, but he knows when he fears.)

Yuna feels the not-shudder, and looks to Aten to help.

"I- it-it's nothing. Just- It's nothing." (He feared Her, but She had to be right, didn't She?)

"O-okay." She wishes she knew what to do, but in the meantime sends warm, comforting feelings through the bond.

Kimahri takes care of dinner while this goes on.

Aten echoes the feeling back at Yuna, trying to persuade her not to worry. (He doesn't know what to do with her worry.)

Yuna's teeth worry her lower lip, but she doesn't push for anything else, and accepts Aten's warmth.

Not long after dinner, she's asleep.

Lulu soon follows her.

Once they're both asleep, Auron sits next to Kimahri. "The masked person at the Rin's. Ey were a fiend."

"Kimahri knows."

"I recall Yuna telling me how you attacked Tidus on the suspicion he was a fiend."

"Kimahri did not need to test. Masked one was a fiend, but no threat."

"I- think they were familiar? I don't- they didn't make a move to attack?"

"Familiar how?"

"I- like a memory of a memory? It's- hard to grasp. They were- I don't know, I'm sorry."

"You don't need to apologise."

He ponders for a moment. "Perhaps they were a former summoner. I suppose it doesn't really matter. We won't encounter them again."

Kimahri nods.
