There are many people that a gang could set upon on a night, and even get away the victors. But even with the advantage of numbers, attacking the four tipsy people who'd been weaving down the street has turned out to be very much the wrong decision. Because the four tipsy people are in fact military trained. That they're tipsy barely impedes their reactions. It doesn't take them long to have it over with, breathing a little rushed, faces flushed with adrenaline and grins.
'Chelle takes care of switching everything off as she follows them upstairs.
Percy is good at not stirring up Lan and gently deposits the other boy in bed.
"Thanks," 'Chelle murmurs. "Wanna stay? Bed's probably big enough for the three of us?"
'Chelle wakes early again, but doesn't move further than it takes to grab her phone.
Eventually, 'Chelle starts to get up. "I've got to get ready for school," she explains. "You can stay here as long as you want."
"Just a little," 'Chelle agrees with a grin as she pulls clothes from her drawers. "Have fun." And with that, she slips into her en suite.
Aaren is, perhaps predictably, in the kitchen, although he seems to have delayed starting on breakfast by instead flipping through something on a tablet computer.
"Just checking my email, making sure nothing critical came in over the weekend. But we appear to be good."
