There are many people that a gang could set upon on a night, and even get away the victors. But even with the advantage of numbers, attacking the four tipsy people who'd been weaving down the street has turned out to be very much the wrong decision. Because the four tipsy people are in fact military trained. That they're tipsy barely impedes their reactions. It doesn't take them long to have it over with, breathing a little rushed, faces flushed with adrenaline and grins.
"Yeah. He sleeps pretty soundly."
In that case, Percy will pick Lan up and take him upstairs.
Lan stirs enough to snuggle into Percy.
'Chelle takes care of switching everything off as she follows them upstairs.
Percy is good at not stirring up Lan and gently deposits the other boy in bed.
"Thanks," 'Chelle murmurs. "Wanna stay? Bed's probably big enough for the three of us?"
"Of course," basking face.
Snuggling! And eventually sleep!
'Chelle wakes early again, but doesn't move further than it takes to grab her phone.
Percy just cozys up when he awakes.
Eventually, 'Chelle starts to get up. "I've got to get ready for school," she explains. "You can stay here as long as you want."
Nodnod. "I think I will get up early and see what I can do to help."
"Dad'll have breakfast covered, but sure, go ahead."
"I know, his industrousness is infectious."
"Just a little," 'Chelle agrees with a grin as she pulls clothes from her drawers. "Have fun." And with that, she slips into her en suite.
Percy goes looking for something to do then.
Aaren is, perhaps predictably, in the kitchen, although he seems to have delayed starting on breakfast by instead flipping through something on a tablet computer.
"Hi, dad? Busy with... work?"
"Just checking my email, making sure nothing critical came in over the weekend. But we appear to be good."
Nod nod. "Can I help with breakfast?"
"If you want. I was going to make pancakes."
"I would love to. What can I do?"
"Could you beat some eggs together for me? They're on top of the fridge."
Eggs are retrieved and beaten.
