There are many people that a gang could set upon on a night, and even get away the victors. But even with the advantage of numbers, attacking the four tipsy people who'd been weaving down the street has turned out to be very much the wrong decision. It doesn't take them long to have it over with, breathing a little rushed, faces flushed with adrenaline and grins.
"You two are as bad as Al and Teo," Nero complains, not sounding all that serious.
Giggle. "I am going to take that as a reason to become competitive. I warn you."
Lan nods seriously. "Quite the monster we have unleashed."
And: they're back at Teo and Nero's house.
'Chelle sticks her head out of a door. "We got all the plates and stuff in here. And found a dreadful shark disaster movie to watch."
"Watch out for when Chromatic and Anima start rooting for the sharks. Pillow wars will begin."
"Glad to hear it, we'll try to wait until everyone's done eating. Pull up a seat and help yourself!"
Teo himself is sprawled in front of the chair Alain is sat on.
Percy eats and chatters animatedly.
(Though he is focusing on eating everyone's less favored things.)
Around him the others are doing the same - they do seem to be fairly unfussy about what they eat, but each does seem to have favourites.
