"Yeah. You wanna get out of here?" 

It backs away slightly, eyes narrowed, like its expecting a trap, a trick.

The noises from the other side of the door are getting louder, signalling that they might have company in a minute, but Aqualad keeps his focus on the scared and hurt person in front of him. His stance is open and relaxed, his weapons sheathed. 

"It is not a trick. We are here to help you. I am Aqualad, and this is Robin and Kid Flash. We can take you to the Justice League—to Martian Manhunter." 

...These...kids, don't seem like a threat, but--

When Martian Manhunter is mentioned, it skips back again, hissing, looking more like a cornered animal than anything. Its eyes dart to the door, and then back to the teens, weighing up its options, its chances.

"—or not! Whatever you want. That's kind of the point we're trying to make. We're here to help you, not to trap you again like they did."

It pauses, assessing, and then...

...It nods, sharply - it stands to gain more than it would lose, it doesn't have to stay with them beyond escaping the facility. Although it has no idea where it would go.
