Carol has no trouble getting the star started. She's not even glowing much less afterwards.

Then they can forge their gauntlet much more straightforwardly than Thor forged Stormbreaker.

(Carol does hang out in the nimbus of star beam soaking some of it up, but not enough to affect the forging process.)

Thor looks up at her a couple times, blinks, and then looks back at the gauntlet-in-progress. Soon it has set and cooled. 

She scoops it up. "Now we go... back to Earth? Right? Who's going to wear this thing?"

"I think...you."

"Oh. Okay." She puts it on. It's a little hilariously big but she manages to flex all the fingers, possibly with her weird glowy powers.

"Would you benefit from additional stars, or is this the limit of your abilities?"

"I could maybe use a little more star, if there are some handy. Starfish don't count."

"...I am glad to know it. There are many stars that no one lays a claim to. I'll, ah, consider which - ah." And they're off again.

Carol has some of but not all of this next star.

They return.

"You're looking well, Carol."

"Is my lab going to catch fire? I don't have another!"

"Oh, no," says Carol. "I mean, not unless I want it to. If I wanted to I could definitely set it on fire."

"So could I! Don't, please. That gauntlet is so ugly, is that the best we could do?"

"I don't know, I wasn't paying attention," says Carol.

"I think the idea was we were operating off a preexisting blueprint or possibly literal physical mold," says Loki.

"That's correct," Thor agreed. "Thanos discarded the mold he used. Perhaps the gems will find it appealingly familiar."

"I guess that's the sort of thing some of them might do."

"I've forgotten your name," Carol tells Luthien apropos of nothing.

"Lúthien!"

"You going to come along?" Loki asks Lúthien.

"Yes."

"I'm glad to hear it. Maedhros, how should I go about asking Huan, do I just bring you in a suitcase to do it for me or what?"

"- that might be your best option. I do not expect he'll be difficult to persuade."
