"Of course," she agrees.

And then they both offer to help Esme pack, if she'd like help.
That would be nice.

And she'd like to finish the tile on the patio -

- but she wants to be ready to leave when Carlisle's notice at work takes effect, and that means wrapping things in paper and putting them in boxes.

The two of them could wrap things in paper and put them in boxes while she does the tile, this is the benefit of having three instead of one. Multitasking.

They're too kind, she's sure.

The Cullens put up with Yvette being a newborn and needing to be babysat, helping to pack is nothing in comparison.

Packing! Paper! Boxes!

Rosalie draws out her revenge.

She comes to the Cullen home after several days of stalking and bloodless killing.
By then, everything is all packed up and the tile on the patio is complete and Yvette is absently reading. It's a chemistry textbook, not a novel. She has ideas.

She glances up when she hears Rosalie coming and closes the book.

"Hello," she says, because she's not sure what else to say. She'll let Rosalie take the lead, here.

"Hello," says Rosalie. She's very pretty. She's wearing a white wedding dress; she picks at the sleeve idly. "...Edward told me you have a power you used on me somehow. I didn't quite understand."

How very thematic. Yvette kind of approves.

"I have a transmutation power," she explains, "that lets me copy things and then remake them. I realized it might matter to you that you couldn't have kids as a vampire, I know it mattered to me. So I had Edward check to see if you cared, and according to him you did, so I copied everything biologically relevant to letting you have kids and can remake it later. It can't be used, yet, but I think technology might eventually catch up and then you'll have the option available to you, instead of not."

Rosalie hugs her.

Yvette is surprised by this!

But she returns the hug.

Rosalie is newborn-strong, but so is Yvette, still, so nothing breaks.

Yep, it all works out.

"... Do you want me to prioritize figuring out how to do that?" she asks. "Because I can. Chemistry can wait, I have eternity."

"I don't want children now," Rosalie says, letting her go. "What would I do with them, being like this? Who would be their father? But - someday. Maybe someday."

This makes perfect sense to her, she's in a similar situation.

"Fair," she agrees, nodding. "Just wanted to make sure."

"Thank you."

"You're quite welcome."

"I think you're closer to my size than Esme, and Carlisle thinks it would be risky to go take my own clothes out of my house, even if I wait until my funeral when everyone would be out," she murmurs. "Can I borrow something to wear?"

"Yes, of course," says Yvette, and off she zips to her suitcase. "Do you want more than one set of clothes? I don't mind buying more, I can transmute gold."

"One will do long enough for me to drive somewhere no one will know me and buy more. I just can't do it in this. I guess it was a little theatrical."

Nod.

... Slight smile.

"I mean if you're going to do something, might as well be theatrical about it."

She opens her suitcase and offers the contents to Rosalie. "Pick what you'd like."

Rosalie picks through the options with practiced aesthetics and comes up with a blouse and a skirt to change into. "Thank you."

"You're welcome," says Yvette, and she zips the suitcase back up for travelling.

"Blair and I are heading up to Denali, get my introductions out of the way while we're on this side of the water. I don't know if they told you?"

"Didn't come up. I suppose I'll meet them later. Having been adopted, and all."

"... We can also stick around for a little while and then you could come with us, if you'd rather."
