There's a woman sitting at the bar dressed in strangely seamless clothing, absently drinking something cyan in color through a thick straw while knitting a scarf. She has more napkins in front of her than one would expect, and only one of them seems to be at all used.

After the girl floats in, Candace walks a bit towards her and gestures towards the bar. "This is actually still a food place! Probably not the one you expected, though."

The little child is in an old-style but in decent repair shirt and pants. Natural materials, cotton and leather? "No. This is another weird magic thing."

"At least it's a weird magic thing that sells food and the door will send you back to wherever you were afterwards, it's friendly. Time's paused, too. Bar probably even sells the food you were originally going to get. Have a seat, the bar offers a free first drink for a broad definition of 'drink' and nobody will steal the broom if you set it down." She gestures to the seat next to her own.

"It's not a broom it's a stick. My broom got broke in Albania but the stick's okay at flying. Is it gonna go away when I leave?"

"The bar? Yeah. I'm not planning to really leave though, I'm planning to hold the door and let some important people visit, they'll be pretty excited. But time's stopped so I might as well hang around first. Are you okay? What happened in Albania?"

"Good. If it's gonna go away nobody needs to come make it go away. There weren't enough ships in Albania. I'm okay now mostly."

She stops floating and walks around, looking curiously at everything.

"There weren't enough ships in Albania ... so you lost your broom? I'm not sure I follow? You don't have to tell me what happened, but I'm kind of curious. Also this place has an infirmary, apparently, I haven't looked at it because I'm completely healthy but if you got hurt you might want to check it out."

"Oh, everyone had to throw away all their stuff so more people could get on the ships before the Neuroi got there. We were only on ships for like a day. The stupid king had a ship full of gold an' stuff though. Stupid. I'm not hurt. What's your shirt made of it's weird?"
