And the dome disappears, revealing what is probably a bigger breakfast than a eight year old baseline strictly needs.

"Zaneta's clever."

"Yeah."

She will eat as much as she feels like, then.

"Mind if I try some?"

"Sure," she says, and offers him some.

"Bacon is weird. And so are eggs."

"All food is weird. But it's tasty."

"It's not bad. So, Zaneta said they're going to turn you into a Miracle later."

"Yeah!"

"You scared or anything?"

"No, I'm gonna live forever!"

"That's nice. I guess we'll be the same like that."

"Everyone should be like that," she nods.

"And you'll be able to do stuff like this!"

He proceeds to do some rather fun looking parkour like things.

"Well sure but I'll be able to live forever."

"Aging is weird."

"And dying is bad."

"Yeah." He grins that pointy smile of his. "Do you think you'll get more powers?

"I dunno! Maybe! I hope so, more powers sounds fun."

"It's weird, I kind of have powers depending on who I hang out with."

"What do you mean?"

"Humans can't live underwater, mer can't walk."

She giggles. "Yeah, I guess that makes sense."

"Doesn't seem like that to me, though."

"To you it's normal, but I guess to the triplets it's normal to fly."
