Battered and weary, you retreat to the sanctuary of your inn to tend to your wounds and recuperate. The chaos in the streets has quieted for now, but an air of unease still permeates the city.

As you gather in the inn's common room, nursing your drinks and discussing the recent events, a figure approaches your table. She introduces herself as Mariona Carbonell, a Crown agent tasked with a crucial mission. The esteemed Count Quirze Zacarías Espino y Aspramunt has gone missing, or rather, his body has.

A Grisly Disappearance

Mariona reveals that the Count's lifeless body was last seen on the shores near the city outskirts. However, before the authorities could retrieve it, a band of kobolds was spotted dragging the corpse into the city's sewer system. It is believed that the kobolds have taken the Count's remains deep into the catacombs beneath the city.

The Crown wishes to resurrect the Count, but if his body remains lost, the resurrection process becomes more expensive and difficult. Mariona implores your party to venture into the catacombs, locate the Count's remains, and return them to the surface as quickly as possible to facilitate the resurrection.

As you delve deeper, you may discover ancient crypts and long-forgotten vaults intertwined with the sewer tunnels. Be prepared to face not only the kobold menace but also the restless undead and other abominations that have made their home in the catacombs' eerie depths.

Your goal is clear: find Count Aspramunt's remains and bring them back to the surface swiftly. But the path ahead is fraught with danger, and the secrets buried beneath the city's streets may prove more sinister than anyone anticipated. Steel your resolve, gather your wits, and descend into the catacombs to unravel the mystery that awaits.
