The storm rages on. Amy Titus sits back against the bars of his cell and just... watches. He disabled the sound dampeners in his cell the first week he arrived. It probably bothered his immediate neighbors... but Amy can't really seem to bring himself care all the much.
He twitches his fingers, trying to get some feeling back in them from their handcuffed position behind his back. But otherwise, he just sits. And listens to the storm.
"The Doctor travels all through time but isn't affected by it. They figure that's a Time Lord trait. Need someone similar, close enough, so they can do the same thing. Keep track of him."
"Does it matter what I think? They've changed me enough that I can't control myself. Killing the Doctor is my mission."
"Spent my entire first regeneration rewiring my brain with psychic compulsions until all I could think about was killing the Doctor. It's a part of me now."
"Psychic shit stopping me. Plus they have a kill switch. I tried a couple of times."
"You know, lately I've been trying to have reasons before I murder people. That sounds like a pretty good reason to me."
"Good luck with that. Feel free to kill them, then. Though they're probably the only thing stopping the Doctor from bringing back the War."
"His enemies seek Gallifrey's destruction. The siege lasts over nine-hundred years, a stalemate. He's on his last regeneration, so he can either die and his enemies will destroy Gallifrey, or he can set the Time-Lords free..."
"So you're saying, if I don't kill them, Gallifrey will be destroyed? Wow, I really don't want to kill them now. Not at all. It's not like I'm attached to my entire species or anything."
"The Siege is also occupied by the Daleks, Cybermen, the Weeping Angels... half the universe is in attendance."
"You'd need a way to get in..." he looks outside and thinks, "Maybe some sort of multi-dimensional shifting device to get past the blockade... but you'd also need to have some way to stay in place. The whole time period is steeped in anti-TARDIS and Time Lord tech."
"Anti-TARDIS tech takes advantage of safeguards the TARDIS's built in safeguards. We don't have those anymore."
"That's handy. We still need to get past the blockade. I can build something, but if she can just do it herself?"
"Theres no rush. If she wants to take her time I could also build a temporal bomb... and if that bomb somehow disappeared and made it way into the Silences head quaters... well that's just out of my hands, isn't it?"
"The worst they can do is kill me and they've done that so much now that's it's kind of passé."
