She walks into the bar, slightly distracted by trying not to be distracted by... pretty much everyone. It's spring.
"So who did you say you were introducing me to, again?" she asks her coworker.
Shrug. "I don't know. I guess now that the cat's out of the bag there's no reason not to go on dates with you guys on days when I feel like having a dick."
Teo chuckles. "That is sure a take to get from the entire thing. Seni is going to give me his best flat look when we tell the story."
"It's fine. I didn't realise you could see the dissonance magic, you—don't really have any, showing, on you, I knew you could do it but I thought it was just the regular old harmony magic."
"I generally avoid letting dissonance build up at all for the aforementioned reasons. And you used a lot of magic on yourself, hard not to notice." He eyes Sahde up and down. "I can't complain about the results."
"You knew already how great my taste is," he shoots back. "But yes, I was not expecting a blue at the orgy. Which is an obvious error in hindsight, given that I knew you were in town."
"Oh, stop it, you," he laughs, and a wave of his hand dispels the field of quiet around them. "How about we order something and make it a date now? Your treat."
"Ooh, definitely my treat." Kiss. He calls the waiter.
He doesn't comment on the sign of trust, but it's pretty obvious he noticed.
The waiter completely ignores the grey when there is a blue right there. The grey rolls his eyes.
Yeah that is annoying. It's not even convenient. But Teo lets the waitress know that Sahde can order what he wants.
Of course Sahde can order what he wants, she says smiling. Sahde does not snort but does order something.
"Oh, right. I was trying to decide how much I would tell them over text and then got distracted." He takes out his pocket everything and starts typing. "Do you want to meet them here of back at the hotel?"
