He leads them into a broad room near the tower's base, prepared with heavily inked seals. A blond man is there, and he smiles reassuringly at Tetsuma.

Ranko is asked to step out of the room for the duration, to avoid any interference.

She complies. 

Tetsuma seems a bit out of it still when she's next allowed to see him, eyes having trouble focusing as a medic moves around him, occasionally touching his head.

She crouches next to him immediately. 

"Are you okay?"

"I. Think so? My head's woozy..."

"Is that normal?" she demands of the nearest adult. 

"Briefly, yes. Sedation tends to have that effect," says a medic.

"...Okay," she says, not sounding entirely satisfied. "C'mon, Tetsuma."

He stands, a hand on his head, but he doesn't seem unsteady or anything, just distracted.

...Good. 

She leads him out. 

He follows her, quietly.

"Tetsuma, I am currently experiencing temptation to scoop you up and hug you. How do you feel about this." 

"...Okay."
