Mahao’li grins as he feels Qana’to weight lifting off him, and as the first rope of cum shoots out of Cehn’to, he moves to wrap his lips around his tip, purring as the remainder of his load hits home agains his throat and tongue.

From behind Mahao’li, the quiet, tense sound of an anticipatory gasp, then silence.

“Ah, fffffiwjah! Sensitive! Ahhhh!”

Qana’to bellows with laughter. “I was wondering how long that would take!”

“Cut it out. If there weren’t people like me in the world you’d have to use your hand a lot more.”

“That grim counterfactual doesn’t make reality any less amusing, my friend.”

He slaps Mahao’li gently on the back and grunts as he finally pulls out. “So, my esteemed guest, had your fill now?”

Mahao'li chuckles as he pulls off of Cehn'to's head, grinning at the other man. "Poor sensitive boy. If you hadn't missed the first shot, I wouldn't have needed to take matters into my own hands. Or, lips rather."  He licks his lips teasingly before straightening up as he feels Qana'to leave him, stretching his arms over his head and sighing contently as he turns to face the Ruunte. "For now; Although, any true competition needs multiple rounds; I'd hate for Cehn'to to think I wasn't giving him all the chances to win I could."

Mahao'li settles back into the bath, submerging himself for a moment before popping back out and shaking the water from his hair.

“Ooh, you make an excellent point,” Qana’to muses as he lifts his tail and shakes the water out of it. “It seems like I’ll have you for at least a few days, then.” He smiles, the slightest gleam of a devious plot behind his eyes, and then clambers out of the baths and skips around the building, still fully naked. “Dinner is on the table by now! Naoh’li came out to get us a few minutes ago.”

Mahao’li beams up at Qana’to from his place in the pool, resting a moment longer before standing back up and reaching for a towel; While the rain had yet to start, the storm they had encountered on their way home hung heavy above them, and the wind clawed at his bare skin with the ferocity of an Ixali Direwolf, and it took all his strength not to plunge himself back into the warm waters.

”I’ll be in the area until at least Friday. The lady at Milvaan’s gate told me that was when the next ship was leaving.” He noted the glint in the other man’s eye, frowning slightly in worry before following the Keeper back around the building.

"We shall plan for 'at least Friday,' then!" Qana'to says carefully, tail swishing. Cehn'to chuckles quietly behind them as they pass into the shrine proper, where the smell of baked fish immediately overwhelms everything else. Qana'to leads them down to the long table where the other members of the shrine's permanent staff were arraying themselves. They were mostly wearing loose, undyed tunics draped loosely about their waists, though one had the dark clothes that Rhaefi'a had worn when greeting Mahao'li earlier in the day. The group looked over at their guest, and Rhaefi'a motioned to an empty seat beside him as Qana'to introduced the whole group in one big list.

"Veom'ra, Naoh'li, you know Rhaefi'a of course, and Hrevna'a; Rhoyod'to, and I don't think Lho'sae has come down here yet. Everyone! This is Mahao'li, our treasured guest. Please make him feel at home among us."

Mahao'li smiles at the Miqo'te all seated before him, blowing his head politely as he greeted them. "I am Mahao'li of the Moui, and it is a pleasure to make your acquaintance." He detaches himself from Qana'to and Cehn'to, moving to settle into the space Rhaefi'a indicated. His wet hair still frames his face as he shoots a grin at the man beside him. "Hello again, rikelhor. Thank you for saving me a seat."

"Rekil," he responded, "A pleasure." Plates were being brought out one-by-one by Hrevna'a, and Mahao'li's arrived moments after he sat. "How was the rest of your afternoon in the pools? Did you earn that second bead after all?"

Mahao'li gives Hrevna'a a smile as he takes the plate from the other keeper, muttering a quiet thank you before turning back to Rhaefi'a. "My afternoon was nice, although you'll have to confirm with Ruunte  Qana'to on if I succeeded in that regard." He flicks his ears, shooting a glace at Qana'to before continuing. "We only lingered in the pools a while, before we went into town to get the fish, among other things" He gestures to the meat before him, using the pause to take a bite. His eyes widened as the flavours filled his senses; far different from the freshwater fish he was used to, it was rich against his tongue.

"Oh...that is amazing. I've never tasted anything like it!"

"You've never had spices like here in Limsa Lominsa," Rhaefi'a replied. "The benefits of living near a trade port. They are cheap and easy to find." Rhaefi'a took a nonchalant bite of his own food and smiled. "Guroh, coh?" he asked after swallowing. "You will find the food is very healthful, too." If he was aware that he sounded like a fishmonger in the market square, he did not let on. "Gotta keep satihr like you healthy if I'm going to get a good meal out them in the hot spring, no?"

Mahao'li shook his head, taking another eager bite, savouring the flavours another moment before swallowing and replying to Rhaefi'a. "No, not like this. It's not even just the spices, but the fish itself. We never pulled anything this rich from the White Maiden, nor have I since migrating to the South Shroud. It's absolutely delicious!" He pauses a moment, licking his lips before smirking at the nekucte. "Almost as delicious as you are."

Rhaefi'a stutters momentarily as he tries to summon an appropriate response. His ears pin back his head and he looks away, the rush of the compliment temporarily obscuring his knowledge of the Eorzean lingua franca. Eventually the simple fact of the delay is sufficient to cause him embarrassment on its own, and he covers for it by giggling and stuffing food in his mouth.

Tragically, Hrevna'a served it hot.

"Aou, taasa! Hot! Hot!"

Mahao'li let out a laugh, reaching to pour a goblet of water for his lover.

"Poor caon, so distracted as to hurt himself. Do you need me to kiss it better?" His ribbing aside, his eyes show genuine concern for the other Miqo'te, pushing the goblet of water into his hand to make sure he would not choke or hurt himself further.

“No, I am fine.” Rhaefi’a’s face was bright with embarrassment and he avoided eye contact as best he could. “It just caught me by surprise.”

“We would thank you not to kill our nekhucte, honored guest,” came a murmur from the other side of the table. The voice was soporifically even and staid but for the faint suggestion, in the deep and hollow tone of its first words, of a giggle. “Otherwise one of us would have to stand at the gate to greet people.”

Mahao'li turned to the voice, bowing his head politely, the faintest hint of a smirk playing at the side of his lips as he matched the other Keeper's tone. "Were he not so cute when flustered, I might be less eager to do so. None the less, I will heed your request." He pauses a moment, contemplating, before raising his head and continuing in the same even voice, the faintest hint of a giggle buried in it's depths. "I would suggest Ruunte  Qana'to for the role, but I'd fear he'd get distracted by the first sathir  to walk through the gate."

"You have grasped the essence of why we keep extra help on hand, yes. Very perceptive of you." His voice was low and he spoke slowly. "I am called Veom'ra of the Aliapoh. Welcome to Qonerah'wa. I hope you've enjoyed the staff as much as they've enjoyed you."

"I thank you for your hospitality, Veom'ra. I am Mahao'li of the Moui. And the staff have been quite wonderful, yes." He smiles at the other man, stopping to take another bite of his food, before continuing. "They are nothing but good for the name of Qonerah'wa"

“Good. If they ever give you trouble just let me know.” He lets the statement hang in the air for a few seconds before shaking his head with a smile. “I always say that, but I don’t think this crew could cause people much trouble if they tried. Bless them by the moon.”

Mahao’li surpresses a grin, shaking his head in denial of Veom’ra’s claim, responding to him with the straightest face he can muster.  “I beg to differ. Did you not hear of the aggressive attack I suffered on the road at Qana’to’s hand?”

Veom'ra's face settles into a deadpan scowl. His eyes bore unsettlingly into Mahao'li's skull as he mulls the question.

Then he blinks. "How disturbing," he says evenly. "I hope you'll tell me all about so that we can get you justice."
