Awakening in 1996, Scarlet Inferno (she's not telling you her real name lol) is an extremely capable and experienced dungeon esper in her early 60s who has watched a lot of her peers die from being less cautious, methodical, or just lucky.
She's not interested in telling you how she feels about that, though. She's interested in mentoring promising espers and fucking up another few hundred dungeons before it's time to retire and become a doting grandmother with an incredible bank of stories, and that's what she's spent her last few years doing.
