Given power by a dark being that she used to worship. Being given the power (or some related event, like a meeting or a full worship) made her realize that, no, their dark lord was not a being to be venerated or to tie her will to.
- often has a complicated relationship with the patron
- often still worships it in some manner, due to a mix of habit, fear, and not having anything else she follows
- she wants to be free of the downsides (Coldharbour, the way it affects her family)
- but likes the upsides (power, immortality)
- typically locked away due to prophecy/plots, her father wants to use her and her mother wants to protect her but also in possessive manner

Typically her family was gifted a Sorcerer Bloodline by some power, while also claiming their souls for it (either like a Hellish contract, or through minor-Deity level malediction).

In Golarion, she's at times a happier instantiation (if she got a sorcerer bloodline) due to more opportunities away from her family. Often stays in Andoran. She considered Galt before it completely fell in on itself.
