After finishing breakfast and another while of snuggling she points and floats over another book.

He peers at it.

It is in no alphabet he recognizes, and heavily annotated in what is probably Elodea's handwriting considering that she's currently adding more annotations in same.

Mm, back to snuggles.

Yes.

She will want breaks from the crypto for things like lunch but she has basically no plans to stop snuggling him today.

He can absolutely keep snuggling her the entire rest of the day. That is a thing that can happen.

She ends up falling asleep on him again, drooling lightly on his shoulder, book still in her slack hand.

It's adorable. He shelves the book and snuggles up.

She wakes up before him again and makes no move to decuddle again.

"This is a really nice way to wake up," he murmurs, eventually.

"Yeah."

He pets her hair and kisses her forehead.

She looks at him thoughtfully and presses a soft kiss to his lips.

He smiles, and then gives her a very similar kiss right back.

Mmmmmm.

At some point today she's going to want to change into fresh clothes and there can be sporadic kisses but otherwise she is very much in favor of a schedule much like yesterday's.

Snuggles, sporadic kisses: yes.

Good.

It is a few more days of incremental progress like this when she kisses him hungrily as soon as he wakes up.
