"...The only reason I feel safe casting Mordenkainen's Disjunction is because it doesn't affect the caster. It has a one percent chance of affecting divine artifacts within the radius of the spell, and if it does, the caster loses all spellcasting ability. Permanently. I mean, you can start all over, but no one high-enough tier to cast a ninth-level spell wants to do that.

And I technically count as a divine artifact, because of the curse. And I don't know of any other way to destroy an artifact, so--I don't think that doing that would do anything to your magic, it's not like mine, but I don't know that it won't do that or something else. And I don't know if you can get rid of the curse without getting rid of the immortality, but if you're working on immortality anyway that's less of a big deal."

"I - tried to find out how worried I should be about the curse finding out I want to get rid of it and stopping me," he says. "It didn't sound safe to mention it. But yeah, now that you caught me anyway."

"The curse doesn't like consensual sex and the arrangement works. It's not very smart."

"But it's not like I could ask you if it's any better at self-preservation than it is at doing its job, because if the answer had been yes..."

"I don't actually know, it's never come up."

Mm kiss. She breaks away briefly and pulls her dress off.

He grins and kisses her again.

Kiss! Fumbling with his shirt?

If she would like him out of his shirt, that can be arranged.

She would definitely like that. It provides more targets for kissing.

Oh good.

"Ooh, you're lovely," she murmurs.

"Thank you," he says softly. "You as well."

"Mmm,"  she purrs, and nibbles at his jawline.

This elicits a small encouraging sound.

Oh good. More firmer nibbles.
