"I'm Jade", she elbows Dave who introduces himself.

"I'm Alice. Our plans are kinda provisional at the moment. We're trying to find the next clues in the scavenger hunt, secure any important resources, and build privacy barriers for the bathroom."

"There's a scavenger hunt? Oh, I'm Emily."

"Alex, I'm also curious about the scavenger hunt thing."

"That's the shorthand we've been using. In the hub of the mall, there are these six cryptic phrases that seem to make reference to something. The one for Red is 'In the quiet between the trees.' We think that means some sort of clearing in a forest or a grove of trees but we haven't found anything more specific yet. I'm kinda assuming you're from another section. Which color if so?"

"That's exciting. We're from the black section. Do you know what our phrase was?"

"Do you have a list of all of them somewhere? We're trying to get in touch with all the sections and you're the third we've visited."

"Sure, The one for Black was 'Walking among times now past.' I haven't put much thought into what it might mean. White was 'Deep below at river's end.' Blue is 'At the top of the tower.' Green is 'Behind, below, and above the water.' And finally Yellow's hint is 'Seek to learn.'"

"Huh. Strange."

Dave looks thoughtful "The computer said something about a history museum. I forgot to mention it cause history is super boring.".

"That could be it. I don't remember seeing a history museum when I looked at our building list. There are so many manufacturing facilities and warehouses."

"Guess it's worth checking out to figure out the puzzle."

"We left phones with the other groups, we can call them and give them the phrases. See if they can figure out more from that."

"Ooh, those will be useful, we haven't gotten a chance to visit the phone store in our spiral yet. We weren't sure if they'd work. I suppose it's too much to hope that they'd reach Earth?"

Alex shakes his head. "They don't. On a related note, have you turned on the news?"

"No, I didn't know the TV got Earth channels. What's the bad news?"

"There's a neutron star on a collision course with the sun. The news is claiming everything will be fine, but I'm not so sure given the fact we're here. Also, I'm not sure we know enough about stellar physics to be sure one way or another."

"You're making that up, please be making that up."

"I don't think he's lying. One of you can go check the TV room if you want."

"I'll go check."

"I don't understand physics, but I did see the news." says Dave.

"Sorry to be the bearers of bad news."

"Reality is what it is, knowing doesn't make it worse. Hm, I'm trying to think whether there's anything else we might have found that you haven't or vice versa. Have you found any of the skybridges?"

"I don't think so, what are those?"

"At about the twenty-five kilometer mark in our spiral the second floors of two facing stores were connected and there was an elevator in the area above the mall corridor."
