The Valar announce that they've done as much as they can in Singularity (they can't bring back peoples' babies in that critical period either, but they can get them earlier versions) and are setting up portals between there and Sanity as soon as they are confident they've cleaned up the plague. A bunch of Elf architects have this wild idea for a fivedimensional city where alternating intersections are interdimensional portals between various Valinors and they get eagerly to setting it up.
"I thought you and Timothy were debating ending the war between Heaven and Hell that way? But yeah, I won't stun fairies unless it's a serious emergency."
"People rely on daeva for security purposes. Even people who don't like us do that."
"I should go make a video - where's Amriac, I was going to ask her if she wanted to participate -"
He is still pretty bad at flying but he can at least mostly go in a straight line now!
"Thanks. I might have to cut them off when I go back to school but that's a long time away and in the meantime I'm demoning. I wanted to ask if you wanted to be in a video with the baby dragons because you're really cute with them and you look more like a demon than me."
"Hang out and play with them and dunno, you could sing with Michael or play sphereflute or something? I can set it up so people can ask questions but I don't have to."
"Yeah probably. There're usually a couple good ones and then a bunch of people going 'but demons! I heard they steal sooooouls!"
"What would I even want with some idiot's soul?" she asks, rolling her eyes.
"I know, right? They're dumb and it'll change but in the meantime people're tuning in for the dragons so I make videos about dragons."
"Thanks!"
And he films and edits a video in which Amriac makes treats for the dragons and is nibbled and puts out fires and plays sphereflute and sings.
And he spies on Richard Moon.
He searches stuff Richard Moon has recently written, for 'minor' and 'demon' and 'magic'...
In the last two days? Then he's - probably not traumatized? Is fanfiction a trauma coping mechanism?
