The Valar announce that they've done as much as they can in Singularity (they can't bring back peoples' babies in that critical period either, but they can get them earlier versions) and are setting up portals between there and Sanity as soon as they are confident they've cleaned up the plague. A bunch of Elf architects have this wild idea for a fivedimensional city where alternating intersections are interdimensional portals between various Valinors and they get eagerly to setting it up.
Sigh.
He hopes it's Richard Moon again because Timothy promised to Imperius him into snapping the binding and that'll be awfully satisfying.
Timothy can. Well, ask Cam to. And does, eventually, when Minor doesn't write.
No, Barnaby Moon. "It's a common surname, a bunch of people changed to it about a hundred years ago when Luna was first colonized."
"So they're not related? I'm not leaving him there for a week - what's this one's crusade -"
"They could be related but don't bet on it. Do you want to check that or his written works first?"
"If you're jumping to the Imperius Curse without, like, seeing if Officer Oliver will go knock on their door and issue a friendly warning, that's kind of worrying."
"We did the Officer Oliver way. I want people to stop torturing my little brother."
"I'll try first but if he can't issue a warning because it hasn't been seven days -"
"Yeah. I'm not saying wait seven days I'm saying exhaust non-mind-control options."
"I don't think it'd be great to have the citizens of Revelation panicked about wizards showing up to murder them or magically mind control them."
"I am very confident in my ability to achieve this without anyone else having any reason for suspicion, and I agree that that is necessary."
"They can! They can describe how they were suddenly seized with a desire to dismiss the demon they'd summoned, and did that, and then their heads cleared and they realized they hadn't wanted to do that. I do not think anyone will leap to 'wizards with mind-control'."
