The Valar announce that they've done as much as they can in Singularity (they can't bring back peoples' babies in that critical period either, but they can get them earlier versions) and are setting up portals between there and Sanity as soon as they are confident they've cleaned up the plague. A bunch of Elf architects have this wild idea for a fivedimensional city where alternating intersections are interdimensional portals between various Valinors and they get eagerly to setting it up.
Congratulations Jurassic Park. "I can't make eggs but I'd be happy to bring you a couple of live dragons, if you demonstrate you can take good care of them and agree to exchange with the reserve for a breeding program once they're grown up."
The people in the room seem to be a professional summoner and a park ranger. "We're used to dinosaurs," says the ranger, "which can't breathe fire, but with some instructions from the keepers of the preserve about the particular needs of the dragons we think we could retrofit the former pterodactyl island for them since the pterodactyls are now a few generations tame enough to not fly off even without the water to discourage them. We have a few staff fairies like the one who's been wrangling the dragons and could assign one to them."
"I can make you notes on the needs of the dragons." Theodore wrote everything down so people watching them while he was sleeping wouldn't mess up. "You can write me to tell me when you think you have everything set up, and then I can bring them with me on a summons. Do you have favorites?"
"Our extranet poll says that park-goers like Kate and Raymond best but with the breeding exchange stipulation it would matter if those two were compatible; they seem to be different kinds..."
"Cool! Write me when you have everything set up, and then we'll check your work and I'll bring them over. Theodore might want to come while they're getting acclimated."
"We'd love to have him. Would this be on a volunteer basis or should we plan on enrolling him as a guest ranger?"
"Okay, great, I can go run off a copy of - or, uh, just make 'Jurassic Park Guest Ranger onboarding form'."
"Emailing'll work better because I have a lot of specific summons open for me and I wouldn't want to drag Kate and Archibald around to one that's the wrong one. If we arrange it then you can tell me exactly when to expect a summons and I can be pretty sure I'm getting you."
He writes home.
Theodore needs some help filling out the form, so he helps him with that. They send it in.
The design is revised accordingly. Uh they were going to get an angel to do the retrofit but Minor would be faster...
