The Valar announce that they've done as much as they can in Singularity (they can't bring back peoples' babies in that critical period either, but they can get them earlier versions) and are setting up portals between there and Sanity as soon as they are confident they've cleaned up the plague. A bunch of Elf architects have this wild idea for a fivedimensional city where alternating intersections are interdimensional portals between various Valinors and they get eagerly to setting it up.

Perfect! Can the Valar do portals such that he can lightleap them to Tirion for the trial.
They can. If Cam can be summoned under a binding that won't alarm anyone present that would be convenient.
Sanity Elves! Unless he'd like to change that. They are experienced at adjudicating things in front of the Valar and as experienced as anyone in Sanity at war crimes trials, which is to say that they defended all Melkor's Maiar.

Should it concern him that only one of their clients got off or shall he assume that is an artifact of their other clients being terrible.
They cannot comment on whether their other clients were terrible but they all faced charges of rape and torture and had a pattern of misbehavior stretching back thousands of years; Cam does not have that.
Cam retrieved the Silmarils; the Silmarils do backups; they can introduce the fact that he didn't proceed with the destruction of Valinor until he had backups.

List of witnesses, lines of argument to expect, clarification of some minor timeline points, things that he should not freak out about they are not especially likely to be bad signs, sentencing if he is convicted - "one way this might play out is a conviction on war crimes charges and a sentence to restitution, which would mean 'work on setting it right until it's right, which is to say that you're done, so don't panic if it's not 'cleared of all charges', that doesn't mean the dreadful binding is sticking around."
