She follows along, using her simple staff as a walking stick along the way.

"Did you want to look into more quests, or...?"

"Let's see... Did you wind up finding a shield spell? We can go see about some basic leathers for you, if you'd like. Other than that, I think yeah, we'll head back to the inn and look at the bounty board and get supper."

"I don't have a shield spell, I have a self-cast force burst that'll throw things away from me. Leathers are probably a great idea if they won't interfere with my magic."

"It won't." She nods and leads the way to the blacksmith and leatherworker. "Got anything in my friend's size?"

The clerk nods, steps into the back, and comes out with some basic leathers. "That'll be a crown, lass. I can dye these for another three silver, though."

Sable gives her companion a curious look.

She really wants pretty purple leathers. 

No, she has already made one vanity purchase today. And she'll probably replace these soon enough.

"Undyed is fine."

"Do have purples that match our respective hair?"

"Aye, lass, I do."

Hyacinth blushes a little. 

"I, um."

Somehow she doesn't quite manage to voice an objection.

"Is there a color you'd like better? Oh, or we could match each other's hair?"

"I'dlikeadarkerpurplesoyourhaircolorisgood," Hyacinth manages. 

Sable nods. "How long would it take for you to dye them to match my hair color?"

"A good few hours. They'll be done by morning for sure. Would you like to do yours as well?"

She turns to Hyacinth. "What d'you think, Sin? Would I look good with your lavender over these dark clothes, or should I get mine done in my darker violet instead?"

"I think your darker violet is better, then we'd match."

What is she saying. 

Hyacinth's being adorable is what she's doing. Sable unequips her leathers and sets them on the table as well. "Both in my violet, please. We'll be back in the morning."

And she pays the man.

"Gladly, lass. You two have a lovely evening now."

Okay, Hyacinth, focus. You have an inn to get back to and food to eat and a build to discuss.

"So where to now?"

"Back to the inn, Hyacinth. It's time for supper and new quests and abilities."

She loops an arm around Hyacinth's and leads her out and toward the inn.
