Sapphire has gotten to the last page of her current journal so it's time to buy a new one.
She goes looking for one at a local art fair. Maybe she'll be able to find something nice.
Thanks... I should really sleep on this and also I probably need to spend a bunch of time figuring out how to make it okay for me to disappear with no direct way for anyone to contact me for who knows how long.
"So, are we going to talk about this tonight, or are we going to talk about this tomorrow? Because I do want to talk about it. before you finalize things."
"Let's just make dinner and relax a bit more. I think it would be better to look at things with fresh eyes. Maybe there's things I've missed from repeatedly rereading things. And I know you've been taking a step back so maybe you should read things and see if there's bits I was missing."
She gives a smile in response to that. And then they go to make dinner, it's a familiar curry recipe that they've made many times before and so they fall into the routine easily.
After they've eaten Sapphire settles down with a book. She's not fully committed to leaving right away and with the focus on the notebook she's been neglecting her reading for class. It's also a good way to clear her mind.
Tom considers looking at the notebook alone for a few moments but decides that Sapphire has the right idea. He at least absolutely needs to keep up with his assignments.
They pass the rest of the evening this way until it's late enough to be getting ready for bed.
The next morning they wake up in the slightly tangled way they generally do when they cuddle overnight.
They both come into awareness and just share a comfortable silence for a few moments. "Morning Tom."
"I love you too." She cuddles into him a little more and gives the closes thing to a hug she can.
They just relax that way for a little longer before. "I guess we should get up." He gives a small laugh and then starts detangling.
"I suppose." She detangles too and does a little stretching before getting up and then a little more.
They turn their attention to their respective morning routines. They take turns brushing teeth and taking showers before meeting up again more ready to face the day in the kitchen.
"Fast, normal or fancy?"
"Normal I think. I'm not going to leave today I don't think. We can save fancy for then."
She joins in and soon enough they're eating together at the table.
"So, what's our plan here exactly? I know you have class this afternoon and I have class this morning. Are we going?"
"I am at least, it might be a good idea for you too. I don't really expect you to finish the semester since it's just starting but it's a dose of normality, might help you think about things more."
