Beneath the vault of the Hall of Stars, a masked fox steps up to a small podium. 

The rose logo of the Bowers flickers to life on a screen behind her, and then dies away. 

"Desire Game," says the kitsune. "Put simply, a game where you want. This will be the 285th Desire Game of this form in this year's league. Today's game is a bracket of one dozen. Four beds have been allocated to the hall." 

She clicks a clicker in her hand, and a list of rules comes up on the screen. 

"Today's game is known as Orgasm Race. It is a team game. Four of the twelve of you will be elected as team captains, and then each of them will draft the remaining eight players to their teams. Draft order proceeds from the coach who possesses the least votes to the coach who possesses the most votes. Each team will be assigned their own bed." 

The masked woman clicks her clicker, and another screen of rules appears. "The game will be played in a series of six thirty-minute rounds. The first twenty minutes of each round are an 'action' phase, and the last ten minutes of each round are a 'trade' phase. During Action phases, members of all teams must compete to gather the most orgasms and edges for their team." 

She paces three steps to the left, then turns, tails lashing out behind her. "For each edge that a player experiences in an Action phase, they earn one point. For each full orgasm that a player experiences in an Action phase, they earn ten points. Points may be given to other players at any time and for any reason, and may also be spent for useful equipment at any time. Bringing in personal equipment beyond one's own body is banned in this game. Any item purchased with points belongs initially to its purchaser, though it may also be traded freely at any time."

The masked woman's voice grows teasing. "But, of course, simply having many orgasms is not the only way to get ahead in this game. During Trade phases, orgasms are not counted for points. Take the time to rest and recover, or negotiate to try and gain points. During Trade Phases, team captains may choose to trade players with other teams. Any form of recompense for a trade is acceptable so long as both parties consent to the terms of the deal, even forfeits outside the present game. A team captain may not trade themselves to another team."

She inclines her head. "At the end of the sixth round's Trade phase, all members of the team with the largest total current points win an additional week in the Rose Bowers."
