Breha's already taught them meditation...

Then they can build upon that foundation.

Leia, it turns out, really struggles with consciously connecting with the Force, and with thinking of it the way Elesse or even Anakin does. 

There are of course more ways than just those. Does Leia have any particular feelings about where she's finding the impasse?

It's hard to pin down - she feels like that part of her doesn't want to be observed. (It would in fact be very, very difficult to tell that Leia's Force sensitive if you didn't already know.)

A natural instinct for stealth, perhaps. Perhaps some of the old Shadow methods might be appropriate...

That seems to help! ...Leia might also be bad at introspection. 

That is a practiceable skill. Maybe she could try journaling?

That sounds like a security risk, has Elesse considered that if she doesn't write anything down and keeps all her real thoughts deep in her then no one else will be able to see them either.

Being able to feel safe is a good skill to have.
