And an elite Chelish force makes an apparently-suicidal charge at the Worldwound, right up to the planar tear and across, into the Abyss itself—

—and the hordes of demons part for them, well, it isn't so much that they part as that one horde of demons turns to attacking the other to keep the latter off the Chelish forces—

(This is an incredibly expensive intervention for Deskari, and doesn't particularly work. He doesn't so much have allies, as he has lots of other demons who also want to eat Golarion, and he couldn't bribe all of them to stay off the Chelish forces, but lots of demons just want to kill things and don't care whether they're mortals or other demons.)

—and Deskari himself, something like a locust the size of an elephant, lays down like an oversized cat as they approach, distracted only briefly by killing lesser demons that get too close—

—and the planar tear into Golarion closes, leaving an entire Chelish army trapped in the Abyss, because Deskari doesn't really understand the concept of Why Not That—

—and Aspexia Rugatonn, with every combat buff known to Golarion upon her and Mind Blank up just to block out the sheer horror of being right next to a demon lord, walks right up to him and lays hands upon some relatively less spiky part of his body.

Plane Shift.

Interplanetary Teleport.

Deskari, Lord of the Worldwound, is hopefully somewhere he likes better.

And then she gets out of there (via a Plane Shift to Hell, from which she can easily get back, rather than another expensive Interplanetary Teleport), before the vacuum or the radiation or Deskari, who does not particularly have the concept of gratitude, can kill her.

(Cheliax closed the Worldwound! Cheliax is going to milk the shit out of this, diplomatically speaking, notwithstanding Lastwall's deluded insistence that Asmodeus was the only reason it didn't get closed earlier, and also collect all the bounties for closing the Worldwound from all the Good churches, an amount of money not insignificant even to them.)
