She smiles. "I'll definitely go check it out!"

"Am I going to see you at fourthschool?"

Ideally, no! "There's a chance."

"Haven't made up your mind yet? That's cool."

The woman in brown robes interrupts. "Excuse me, may I speak with you in private?" she says to Marena. 

She smiles.  "Of course!"

... this is going to go poorly. There's only one thing someone who wears brown and organises youth groups can be, and that's a monk.

The woman in brown robes takes Marena to a side room. "Would you like me to swear confidentiality for this conversation?"

That's a lot of words to say 'I want to know if you want confidentiality,  but of course I'm not going to keep it.'

"It's fine if you don't."

"All right. Is something wrong that I can help you with?"

Breezy smile. You're not going to get her that easily. "Oh, I'm fine."
