Welllllllll... She was hanging out with Ami afterwards, and apparently she's a pretty big fan of Aino Kinsei. So they were talking about her new album, and did you know, she's using it to promote a musical she's starring in. With the Takarazuka Revue, even.

"Oh? I hadn't heard about that yet."

"Neither had I. But it's about Sailor V, I've got the flyer here-"

She takes it, with a hum. "Angel-san is playing Sailor U as well, hm? That's off type for her." (She uses the English pronunciation of the name.)

"Have you seen her other work?"

"Yes – she's young, but she's already rather famous within theater circles. She's the top otokoyaku of the Moon Troupe. She's fairly strict on it so far; all her roles before this have been men – but she's also exceptionally athletic, which was likely desired for Sailor U's role. They might have also wanted a rival who would contrast nicely with Sailor V, and with how feminine Kinsei-san presents herself, an otokoyaku would be natural, there." Hum. "I enjoyed her work in Guys and Dolls – I could take you and Ami-chan to see Sailor V, if you'd like."

"That would be amazing."

"It's my pleasure. Is there anyone else you'd like to invite?"

Shinju. Don't be insane, Erika.

"Uh, no."

"Alright. I'll get tickets for the three of us."

"Thank you so much, Mom."

"No problem." They can chat about theater while they finish up dinner – but, afterwards, Rei does need to return to her work.

Erika won't keep her. She has some homework to catch up on before going to bed.

And fantasizing about asking Shinju to go to a play with her but we don't talk about that.

(She has a warm feeling while she's fantasizing, anyways, as the moon shines down on them both, and a pleasant dream after, the two of them – Erika in a diaphanous white gown, Shinju in a golden tuxedo – sitting together in an elegant box seat as familiar music fills the air.)

It's a nice dream. A very nice dream. She wakes up happy even before her tea, and hums quietly to herself on the way to school.

School goes by quickly, and Ami falls in beside her as it lets out after the half day is done. "No archery club today, right?" she asks to verify.

"Yeah. Saturdays are optional."

"I brought those magazines," she says, "And we need to prepare for the radio show tonight."

"Oh! My mom agreed to take us to the musical."

"Nice!!"

"So we'll have that to look forward to after."

"It'll be fun."

"Mm. Do you want to do the magazines before preparing?"

"Hmmm... Might be good to rest a little after preparing? Which going through the magazines could be useful for."

"Fair enough." Then to their practice yard?
