Invicibility: You have it until you don't
In which April May Turnberry is tested

It's been a long day of dungeoneering.  There were only two dungeons, but none of his fellow espers that day were actually compatible, and the second dungeon had been costlier on backlash than anticipated - the beaver-porcupine dungeon boss turned out to be capable of shooting spines everywhere, and neither of the Beam espers he'd been partnered with had had any real ability to protect themselves.  So it fell to one Timothy Bartholomew Delgado to protect both of him and also himself while also making sure that the boss didn't engage them in melee and preventing his stupid oblivious frustrating intattentive probably psychologically backlashed teammates from breaking line of sight to their protector.  Taking cover behind trees is great, unless it sharply increases the backlash rate for your protector!

But hey, they managed to get it.  And since he's still backlashed and Sara was two time zones over, last he checked, he might as well guide off some of the backlash with powers testing!  Sean had arranged the details with Bill, and now they're in an Official Powers Testing Facility.  Which realistically speaking, means they're in a highly-reinforced building outside of town, with a mildly dizzying array of equipment and experts who can facilitate the use of said equipment.

Tim hasn't gotten there first, unfortunately.  He's a little late, courtesy of a reroute around a portal.  The taxi drops him off, and he hops out, backpack in tow.  Is that Sean he spies?
