Nix takes her seat and smiles at Tourmaline.

"You can show me the world?~", she teases.

I smile widely, wrap an arm around her shoulder and shoot off, soaring above the cacophany of lights and inks swirling around a few of the season's opening displays. 

"Shining, Shimmering, splendid indeed~"

Nix flinches a little from the touch - then she takes a breath. 

"A little handsy, are we?~" The corner of her mouth twitches.

She wiggles her hand on her shoulder.

"Kinda? Parta it is hon just that people 100% don't expect the gs to be as easy to take as they are and like having something to lean back into, from their experiences with cars and such."

"Okay, valid."

Nix looks out at the splendour of Arcadia laid out below them.

She smiles and watches the lil groupings of people playing and 'playing' together, the bustling dorms full of people running in and out, and the solid forms of the teaching buildings, standing proud against the grassy rolling hills of the landscape, before they swoosh in right to the front door of the general store. 

"Got any dietary restrictions or anythin' that should keep in mind when lookin' for stuff?"

"I hate mushrooms, but they won't kill me or anything. I should've asked the others... Should we text?"

She whips out her phone and drafts a quick group email. 

Any last recs for shopping shit? Currently would just grab some meat and potatoes stuff - fig. and lit. 

Sounds good to me. Make sure you stock some fruit and porridge as well.

Can you get me some gummies if they have any? Oh, and yogurt would be nice.

I'll cook everybody pizza if you'll get me some pizza dough and toppings.

Anything in mind for toppings, dough, yogurt or gummi type respectively?

Suppose if you're grabbing that some potato chips would be nice - Salt and Vinegar, preferably.

All meat toppings should be fine, right? Salami,  pepperoni, ham. Pineapple chunks would be good too. 

Cherry gummies are best. Peach greek yogurt if you can get it.

The place is pretty big and not that navigable, but it's relatively findable to get everything slipped in, especially when you have some extra room to fly 'round. 

And... are those like weird mage-y roots there?

"Oh huh. They have magical stuff here too?"

"Yep!" Nix flashes a sizeable quartz crystal at Tourmaline. "I think we should pick up some general ingredients for everybody while we're here."

"Yeah sensible enough." 

She starts nabbing some herbs and oils and oddities - not gonna require anything too complicated, and luckily enough her awakening gave her an ok sense of alchemical val and usage so... 

In they go!

Nix picks up a shopping basket and starts laying in ingredients for cooking and magic both, using the built-in separator in the basket to keep them apart.

'nd in no time at all, they're finding themselves 'round the register, w/ her quickly plopping back out the items to get 'em scanned for payment.

Nix puts back the used basket and pays with a single large gold coin, getting back a mess of change.

She slinks up beside her, and stretches out, her lips right beside her ear as they file out, her voice wet and warm against her skin.

"So. How are you feelin' about the witchmart experience?"

"Feels pretty good. I was expecting things to be a lot more scattershot."

"Heh." 

She smiles and exhales, relaxing a little as the breath ghosts along her neck. 

"I kinda was too, but when I realized that it was just a section in the 'grocery store', realized it'd be pretty chill. They're really a modern marvel in how much they can compress into a pretty smooth experience, think." 

She hums softly and lightly. 

"That bein' true, 't's not like there's just this kinda thing - the boobwitch's place sounds like it's the kinda place that those stories tell of. Gonna be a trip to get used to paying in kind for things, even if there's still the option to flash a baggie of kisses or somethin' for most shit."

"Yeah, I didn't see anything super expensive-looking at that shop, just stuff you'd be able to get in the mortal world. For anything serious it's barter, I hear."
