"It sounds like if I keep you safe, then more people will be safe, especially from the pox, which I can't do much of anything about otherwise."

"I wouldn't want to make dramatic promises about smallpox."

"For one thing he might turn out not to be human in the sense Golarion humans are human, and so none of his medical knowledge works."

... He hadn't considered that, and that is an alarming possibility. "All the patients I saw seemed human enough, though I can't be sure how much I helped."

"I want to get him out of the Worldwound. I'm going to figure out what kind of houses we can commandeer, you sit with him and make sure no one gets up to anything interesting."

And he knows that Tanidio is going to run a Detect Thoughts, mostly stick to the truth except when absolutely necessary, and avoid alienating Bun. Reliable subordinates! They're so excellent. 

In fact Tanidio does immediately cast Detect Thoughts before Chrisor leaves, so he can say it's something defensive in case Bun asks about it. 

"I hear you fainted in the medical tent."

"In my defence, there were a lot of critically injured patients, and a lot of medics doing alarming looking things."

"I suppose Infernal Healing does look terrifying if you don't know what it is."

"Where I'm from, we know blood can spread diseases, and are-- a bit paranoid about that."

"...well, we know you shouldn't drink sick people's blood?"

"There's some where I'm from where it can take a decade for you to get symptoms, but you can spread it the whole time."

"...that doesn't sound that bad? If you're not sick the whole time."

"If you have access to medicine from my world that I don't know how to make, it won't kill you. But if that's not the case it is deadly. --You might not have it at all, of course, I wouldn't know."

"We have-- fevers, the pox, cholera, syphilis, dengue, brainworms, demonplague, mumps, rubella, dysentary, bonechill, blood veil, red ache--"

That's a fun combination "actual disease he recognises," "that's not a disease, that's a symptom" and "... what?"

"Some of those sound the same as the diseases in my world. Some... Are not."

"I guess you wouldn't expect them all to be the same. --What kinds of things would you need to teach us about medicine?"

"Where I'm from, medicine is very-- specialised? So there are quite a few things I know the theory of, but I don't know how to make myself. But I imagine you don't have germ theory, or the theory of evolution, and there are other things I do know enough of how to do and make."

"--we don't know either of those, no. Should we... collect students from a wizard's academy that you can teach?"

"More people working on the problem would probably help." Things he is qualified to do: teach people working in a modern hospital how to be medical examiners. Things he is not really qualified to do: teach ?wizards? modern medicine from the ground up. (If only a pharmacist had been dropped with him...)

"What kind of things do you need to be comfortable? --I think Inquisitor Chrisor has just assigned me as your point person for answering questions about Golarion and making sure you have things you need, because"-- I'm third-circle and specialize in Enchantment-- "if I'm going to be your Security I'm going to be following you around a lot anyway, and Inquisitor Chrisor trusts me not to be an idiot."

He's just going to have to work extra hard to be Professional if Tanidio is going to be around all the time. "I'll admit I don't know about the food situation here."

"...do you need something to eat, I can get a servant to bring that."

" ... Breakfast would be good, but I was more wondering if Taldane had chillis." Please tell him Taldane has chillis. Chillis may as well be a food group.

"...I have never heard of chillis. You should have breakfast. I think that one of my jobs is going to be making sure you take care of yourself."
