Mae always likes the ramps: she doesn't need them, but they're so much fun to run down!

Giggling with relief at finding their stop successfully, she happily scampers down to the street below.

Audrey follows, a grin on her face, but makes sure to look back like Mama taught her so she can remember how to get back here. 

"That was fun!" 

Outside in the street, they're surrounded by shops and the occasional high-rise. It seems this is a less-built-up area of the city. The buildings are marked with kaleidoscopic murals, with windows peeking out of the bright colors. The library that they're there for has prominent signage outside declaring "WESTVIEW BRANCH LIBRARY" with an image of a daisy; it looks pseudomedieval, with stained glass in the windows and a statue outside of a bird-winged woman sitting cross-legged and wearing headphones as she reads.

Across the street is a tall high-rise with the legend WESTVIEW NOOKHOUSE, and then a convenience store ("Bright's"), an oddity shop that seems to sell used books, tabletop games, vinyl records, and sweets ("Westview Arts"), and a tabletop il'ka (by the board games in the windows and the smell of coffee floating out of it) that brands itself as "HEXAGON HALL". Back from the road another lane there's four-story condos that look like they're residential housing.
