The arrival of the Generous Patron of Desire was heralded by planet-wide auroras that lasted for several months.
Even before all of the Asteral Accord's population had finished being called to 29 Amphitrite, it had already begun the process of figuring out how to use its twelve Edict-granted spaceships.
They were huge — comparable to skyscrapers — and shaped like a narrow pyramid. Each one held a million cubic meters in total volume — a third devoted to habitable spaces, a third to cargo space, and a third to various systems and infrastructure, including the engine. It had a drive capable of propelling the ship 0.01g continuously. Traveling from Amphitrite to Earth would take about four dozen days.
Laying claim to as much space in the asteroid belt and the larger solar system was a priority. Not being on Earth, there were fewer competitors, but they were slowed down by the lack of existing Earth infrastructure that they could try to cannibalize or repair. They only had the Edict-granted cache of supplies, and that would not last forever. They also had little water.
Three ships were tasked with surveying the nearby asteroids and finding ones with water ice and bringing them back to Amphitrite, then looking for the rare materials necessary for magic.
Three ships were sent to Earth and Luna with various valuable materials, mostly ores and metals, to begin trading for, mostly, biologicals.
Three ships were sent out with supplies and colonists to set up outposts on unclaimed bodies. They didn't quite have the resources to make orbitals at key locations like Lagrange points, but if they could set up on the small unclaimed moons of the planets...
Three ships remained near Amphitrite for defense. Not that the ships were very good at that — they only had point defense weaponry — but it's not nothing. And they knew that there were other Crowned who had Edict-granted spaceships.
