Huang doesn't know anything about Korean history, but hopefully this isn't going to be a major problem. She supposes that if she needs to learn a new language Korean is fine and it seems likely this will be the result. Most of the other kids appear to be speaking Korean, so perhaps she will mostly study on her own.
