Alec gives a mocking salute but refrains from making any sarcastic comments, because while he doesn't feel any loyalty to them he'd quite like them to feel loyalty to him like they do to Bitch. He's even willing to risk his life in the cause! (This might be because he doesn't feel a visceral fear of Bakuda the way everyone else who fought her this morning does.)

Then they'll go the base while Lisa calls up the boss, and she can tell Raimon to "follow us again".

If it's been long enough he'll need a new horse but yeah sure.

"On demand horses! No wonder he went to the lusty goddess for a better power."

"We don't want the horse to be seen coming to the hideout, it stands out too much."

Raimon, get in the car (gesture), "people not see us with horse, not find you".

He does suppose very few people seem to get around by horse here. He hops off, dismisses the horse, and slides in. He has no inkling of the mysteries of the seatbelt.

Lisa initiates him into the mysteries. 

...also. "If danger, Brian cause darkness. Brian power, not danger." (She is dutifully trying to limit her power use so she can focus on the search for Rachel.)

That dealt with, she takes out her rectangle and fiddles with it and puts it to her ear.

"I can see in the dark."

Sheeee really can't spare the power to check if he can really see through Brian's darkness!

Anyway, she's busy talking to Coil about finding Bitch right now whatever it takes without letting slip that they've a new cape potentially on the team.

(Coil always asks her about new capes in town. Raimon was in the PRT lockup but Coil hasn't asked about him; that tracks with the PRT missing at least some of Raimon's powers but of course she'll check properly later, when they're all safe.)

"No immediate leads," she reports, "he'll call me back in half an hour, then I'll use my power based on what he's got."

Brian swears under his breath. And drives.

They have to detour around debris and emergency workers a few times, but no-one looks twice at another car of people trying to get away or get home in the general chaos. There are still frequent explosions in the distance (connoisseurs of explosion-sounds will recognize these as less building-sized and more rapid-gunfire-like). They cross a street which lets them briefly see two giant women fighting something two blocks away.

Eventually they park the carriage and walk around a corner. This area seems more industrial or storage-like than residential; there are very large buildings with few doors or windows. 

Brian unlocks a side door in an abandoned-looking building and leads them a couple of storeys up an abandoned-looking winding stair, and then touches the wall and activates bright lights all over the ceiling, revealing a definitely-not-abandoned (but also not-perfectly-cleaned) space.

The first room is very large and contains several couches and tables (with leftover pizza boxes). A very large black rectangle stands like a non-reflective mirror, with various other gadgets around it. On the other side is a corridor with more rooms branching off it.

Lisa can show Raimon to the kitchen (sink, fridge with snacks) and bathroom (with shower) and - there's a room they'll free up for him but they need to take out all the random stuff that's in it and then buy a bed or at least a mattress which uh probably won't happen today with the state the city's in? He can sleep on the couch for one night, or maybe Taylor will go home for the night and lend him her bed.

Then she's on the rectangle with Coil again, and fiddling with a bigger double-rectangle that opens up on her lap and shows her words, while she touches the lower half... Sorry she's going to be busy, can Raimon take care of himself for a few hours?

(This is conveyed in few words but the meaning should be clear, even if she's butchering his language for the sake of putting off her upcoming migraine.)

Yeah, he can take some snacks and a cup of water and park on the couch.
