"Unless they're much better at their job in his universe, no. --Although I suppose existing would be a good way to be better at one's job."

"My world isn't what I would call a paradise, but I haven't actually found out which heresies are supposed to be accurate, so I don't know. She did say communication is supposed to work as normal, so once I find out I can go out into my neighborhood and pray, I suppose."

"In my universe chi is fictional and primarily to be found in stories with Chinese or Japanese characters."

"Well, I don't know anything about Japan, and of course not everybody is a cultivator, but," shrug, "cultivators use qi, it's kind of our defining feature. Or so I thought before coming here, for all I know there are dozens of other ways to use qi." 

"Aside from him, we don't have a chi user yet, and I'm hardly one to throw stones about pre-emptive misbehavior." 

"I'm inclined to say yes but I don't know how much of that is my inner scientist wanting to take notes on how he reacts to the Cider."
