This is because Millie's the beeeeeeeest.

"What day of the week is it?  Or - do you work weekends sometimes - I mean when's your next day off."

"I have the day after tomorrow! Do you want to go on a date then?"

Judy squeaks.  "Yes."

Millie beams. "Minnetrista's nice if you haven't been - or if you have, they keep changing the exhibits -"

"Never heard of it!"

"Minnetrista day after tomorrow then." Smooch.

". . . I've kind of been wondering what would happen if I just.  Walked into a hospital and started healing people."

"...gosh, I don't know. Sounds like it could wind up being kind of a mess."

"Probably, yeah.  Tempting though.  It just feels like I'm wasting so much time - I'm probably only going to be able to get three or four people as badly hurt as - as you were, per drinking session, to start with; the sooner I start scaling up the better - "

"I wonder if real witches ever use blood transfusions and if you could kinda -" She makes a vague gesture.

"Huh, maybe - it's all cooldowns though; I could drink blood constantly and it'll still only do me as much good as if I only drank as often I already have been.  Like, I healed you more blood last time; that's not really the limit if I," her face develops a shy smile, "have . . . you . . ."

"You have me," says Millie, smiling softly.

"I was so worried, you know, before; I thought I was all alone with no one in the world, and now - "

"Luckiest car accident ever," says Millie.

"An awful start to the best possible thing."  Judy raises her cup of water in cheers.

"I thought I'd be - more nervous - but you're just not scary at all; it's like we skipped straight to the comfortable phase.  And, um, it's been going kind of faster than I imagined, physically, but that's probably just the same thing as the first one."

"We can slow down, if you'd rather, I don't mind."
