"Yes, ma'am."

Hair ruffle. "Finish your breakfast."

She laughs and turns to do so.

And Elesse will send Anakin on her way with a kiss.

She heads back with a grin and a spring in her step.

And, a few days later, she messages Elesse to let her know that Anakin and Lily got a mission, giving the time frame and destination.

Elesse wishes Anakin good luck with it.

And the first night offplanet, Anakin has a strangely lucid dream.

The cage she's laying in clicks open, and her mistress beckons her over to kneel at the foot of an ornate throne.

Something about this...

Sangua steps out, languid, predatory, and drops to one knee, head lowered, at her Mistress's feet - not as a supplication, but as a servant.

"What is your command, Mistress?"

"Apprentice. An inspection committee from the Trade Federation will be on planet during your mission's timeframe. You are to kill the leader of that delegation and leave the datapad you will find in his possession in the offices of the city mayor."

"Yes, ma'am."

"Should I appear to others at any point during this?"

"Not to anyone who survives the encounter."

Small smile. "Alright."

"Good. I cannot stay much longer. I look forward to reports of your success, Darth Sangua."

"Of course."

"I'll see you later, Mistress."

"May the Force serve you well, my dear."

The dream fades out in a burst of love and affection.

Oh, that feels very, very nice.

She's unable to stop being Sangua that day, though she's so generally bubbly she doesn't think Lily notices anything - and it's not like the Chancellor comes up in their conversations that often, fortunately.

She keeps her eyes open, both as Sangua and as Anakin, for the committee.

There are a surfeit of rumors floating around at all levels of society. It's not too hard for her to determine when they'll be arriving, and which hotel they'll be staying at. Seems this inspection is a little overdue, and people are worried how big the bribes will have to be to keep the goods flowing, whether any of the local factories will be told to shut down, if the representative is going to push more mandatory demilitarization despite the pirates...

Seems - honestly, she's willing to murder basically anyone for her Mistress, but this is...

She feels good about this, beyond knowing she's eliminating some obstacle or another to her Mistress's plans. Feels - more like being part of the system, part of her Mistress's vision, than if she was murdering apparently random people.

She practices slipping between Anakin and Sangua on demand, drawing more lines between them. Strengthens in Sangua's mind the memories of her missions for Gardulla, puts aside murderous thoughts from Anakin's direct stream of consciousness. She can't quite maintain a sense that both parts are existing at the same time, not yet, but she keeps pushing in the time before her window opens, until she's subconsciously noticing and thinking to poke things Sangua will need. Pushes, until Sangua is coming to front with ideas turned over and considered in her head as if she'd been consciously meditating on them the entire time she was dormant (despite having no memory of doing so, which does sometimes then involve some mental work to figure out why she thinks any given thing).

Anakin is pretty sure that Lily suspects nothing (and that there's nothing to suspect; she isn't doing any of this work in her teacher's presence, pushing back her knowledge of her second personality a good bit).

And Darth Sangua (the existence of Anakin in her mind now shrouded - separately from the shroud around her own existence) cases the hotel as subtly as she can.

(Hutts with deep pockets and centuries of experience and far more cause for paranoia couldn't catch her. Why should anyone here?)

And then the moment of her best window arrives - while Lily is out in the town, and Anakin is supposed to be asleep, and every camera and hostel inhabitant will be able to swear she hasn't left her room. While the representative is very likely to be alone. After he's had time to remind everyone why they dislike him, but not to make any concrete progress...

Darth Sangua ghosts onto his balcony. (This makes it harder in some ways to ensure no one sees her than going through the halls - but leaves fewer chances of traces than if she has to mess with cameras.)

He's within, facing away, turning now toward her...

She presses on his mind - You see nothing out of the ordinary. You want some night air. You want to open the balcony door.

The Neimodian slurps down another handful of water beetles and wanders absently over to the balcony, pulling the door open.

You want to leave the door open to air out the room, and go find your datapad to review its contents.

(She positions herself to slip past him once he's not directly in her way.)

He very agreeably follows these suggestion.

You will set the pad on that table. You will face away.

You will not make a sound.

And her vibroknife slides into the back of his neck, angled up toward his skull.

Blood seeps out, viscous and green.

Safe to say this is a dead Neimodian.

She smirks, cleans her blade, and steps lightly over to the datapad - avoiding any blood, and she's wearing gloves so she doesn't have to worry about finger prints, but she's cautious in picking up the datapad all the same -

The mayor's office doesn't seem likely to be any harder to break into, and leaving the datapad firmly in the center of the desk is - important, and she does exactly as asked, but it's overall much less interesting to her.
