"I think that was a successful initial test, then."

"I think so."

"It's still one stream of consciousness, but - it's really easy to divide that." Kiss. "And should be easy to hide me from the Jedi."

"Excellent. I think that will conclude our lesson for the day."

Cuddle. "Alright."

"Do you have anything else you want to do with me tonight, Mistress?"

"Oh, many things. But I think it would be best for deflecting suspicion if you returned at a reasonable hour and largely unharmed tonight."

"Aw... But, true..."

"There will be further encounters, my dear. I promise you that."

Kiss! "I'll hold you to it, ma'am."

Kiss.

"Of course you will."

Wiggle.

She detangles reluctantly, gets dressed, and - a few more kisses for the road?

A few, yes. And a swat on the behind if she seems to be tarrying too long.

She only earns the one.

"Maybe you should walk Anakin to the speeder, Mistress," she teases. "Though she might get sad about not getting any goodbye kisses in public..."

"Perhaps you might share a few memories with her."

"Hm, a fair trade."

And -

She's going back to the Jedi Temple, after a nice date and post-date with Elesse, she still has some anxiety but it's been soothed, and she doesn't really have anyone to gush at about Elesse but she wants to -

Anakin blushes a little and smiles at her Mistress. "I'll see you next time, then?"

"Until next time, my dear. I await with anticipation."

"Yes ma'am."

She steps into her speeder, taking a few deep breaths - meditating, drawing the hiding technique around the part of her that is Sangua - she'll need ty meditate more later, get everything in her head squared away properly on the right side, but...

This should be good enough for now.

She pulls away, back to the Temple.

Her Mistress was right about it being less suspicious if Anakin arrives earlier and unharmed - happier than she did the last time, too. She feels safer. More settled. There's still a lot she needs to get her Mistress to tell her about their plans, but... This has made her more confident that she'll be told as her Mistress trusts her with information, and she'll be given some say.

And Anakin can do trustworthy.

She spends a lot of the next few days meditating - gets through her homework effectively, notes to herself they're approaching the point where a break in Anakin's studies means they might do a string of missions again soon.

She examines her mind, her personality, her memories both recent and distant...

Sangua's going to do this - or would, but it feels less threatening to be the one creating Sangua, than the one Sangua is creating. She doesn't think the other her will care who causes the end result, anyways.

(...Anakin feels more dissociated from the thought of being a Sith apprentice than Sangua does from being a Jedi padawan, doesn't she.)

She leaves herself with the knowledge of who Elesse is, the memories of talking to her after letting their relationship slip, of convincing her to at least try schisming the Order first - but then she carefully examines her process for making mental black boxes, especially the way she hands really boring math out of her stream of consciousness so she'll have answers without having to think about them -

And she maneuvers the connections to those memories behind the partition between her and Sangua. Keeps her knowledge of her relationship with Elesse, her intent to gain various abilities, to cause a schism, to get her loved ones to question the Jedi - and puts the more Sith parts of why with Sangua, too.

She keeps enough of her reasons to maintain internally consistent justifications - which exist, fortunately, Anakin has just never felt motivated to act on how she's noticed the Jedi are dysfunctional as a group. If she needs the more damning knowledge or memories... She sets up a test, and - yeah, the partition can pass those forward, but won't do so too spontaneously... And doesn't seem to have a full strain of cognition yet, but - maybe if she leaves it long enough...

And then Anakin seeks out the Halls of Healing to inquire into learning the healing arts. It's not like they'll hurt to have (or, well, harm her to have; being able to heal herself will definitely get her injured more), and it'd be nice to not have her Mistress have 'sending her back unharmed' as an excuse to tease her.

Anakin might be plotting to overthrow the Jedi and possibly the entire Republic, but she is still, fundamentally, a teenager.

Getting at least initial lessons is very easy once Lily signs off.

And then her grandmaster passes her as she's heading to her second lesson.

"Taking up a healer's mantle?" he asks, idly.

"Just figured it'd be useful to have, though I don't think I'll specialize," she says with a shrug. "And it's actually been a lot of fun so far."

"It is useful, yes. One of the most important skills you can pick up - it's good you're thinking ahead."

...She blushes.

"Yeah, I or someone else could get hurt on a mission."

He raises an eyebrow and definitely does not look amused. "It would be very useful on missions, too," he says, almost teasingly.
