"This is cool," she tells her. "Should I climb on your back for the ride?"

Nod.

So up she goes!

Up up and away!

Heeeeee!!!!!!!

Lily has a blast, laughing, not really clinging as much as 'common sense' perhaps suggests she should.

It's not like Ellie's going to do any snap-rolls, so.

She doesn't seem to really consider that a risk.

She doesn't get tired by the time Ellie's done showing off, instead focused on craning her head around, staring at the mountains.

They are nice mountains.

Ellie slowly circles back down to the ground.

She jumps off once Ellie's settled. "Thanks. That was fun."

Poof.

"You're welcome. I like flying."

"I can see why! That's definitely one of the things I wanna learn to do with your magic."

"Broomsticks are a lot easier than growing wings."

"Yeah, but at that point I might as well get in a pod-racer. I want to transform."

"Depending on what your Animagus form is, that might be easier or harder."

"The Animagus form itself is more doable, though," Fay says, heading over. "But Ellie did have an easier time modifying her initial form to be able to fly than me or Anat - and Anat's still working on wings."

"Even a form that can't fly would be super cool."

"We think my base Animagus form was what dragons looked like before they could use magic."

"Huh! How do creatures get the ability to use magic? Does it usually change what they look like?"

"The best answer we've got is 'it just happens sometimes'. Magic tends to run in families for humans, but it also crops up randomly in previously-nonmagical bloodlines. And yeah, magical creatures are usually distinct in appearance from any non-magical relatives they may have."

"Force sensitivity works like that, too. We're not sure yet how people get to be Force sensitive - someone might have ever known but records get destroyed a lot... We know cloning Force sensitives is a bad idea, though, and that two nearly genetically identical people aren't always both Force sensitive or not."

"Though my girls and I are currently in the process of figuring out if taking eggs from a Force sensitive, fertilizing them in a lab, then implanting them in someone else goes hilariously wrong or not, which'll give us some answers."

"Possibly of the 'don't try this at home' variety."

She giggles. "It'll be fine! Probably."

"I'm sure you'll figure out what you're doing. Eventually."

"Of course we will. And then we'll have a legion of clones who can use the Force."
