She hesitates briefly...

Then jumps up, chirping at her Lady.

Ear scritches.

"This is a very useful form, you know. Small, stealthy, cute..."

Oh that feels unfairly nice.

Purrrrr.

"See? Not so bad."

Bliss kitty.

Pretty kitty, pretty girl.

She seems happy to lay in her Lady's lap, purring, for a while, even once her Lady turns to other matters. Still, she gets restless eventually, standing and stretching a bit before jumping down.

"Today I though we might meet some of the other adherents of our cause, if you are amenable."

She flows back to human, smiling. "I am, yeah."

"Good. There are several cells, each acting mostly independently. I of course guide overall goals but cell leaders have a large amount of discretion. It helps keep everyone happy."

"Of course."

"And if they don't know each other, that keeps one defector from pulling down everyone, right?"

"Well noted. Yes, that is another benefit of the system."

Grin.

"Am I going to be folded into a specific cell, then?"

"I would prefer to keep you close."

"I'd like that too."

She's trying for 'flirty teasing,' though that might come out a bit more starkly honest than she'd intended...

She pulls Bella in close for a kiss.

Kiss!!!

Good girl.

"So, we have the werewolves, of course, the vampires, selkies, centaurs... I am also in talks with the giants and goblins, but the former are naturally isolationist and the latter reluctant to disrupt the present balance of trade agreements without more solid evidence of benefits for them."

"Giants might also be hard to bring in for a guerilla campaign, they're very obvious... Goblins would be very useful as subtle allies, though. They wouldn't even need to fight for you, just tell you something of other people's finances, alliances..."

"Though all of those can be detected if wizards get paranoid about creatures. Werewolves and vampires are a bit harder, but skilled Aurors could start harassing anyone interacting with the magical world... People like me are good agents for going into Diagon Alley and all, but..."

Hum.

"Are you reaching out to muggleborns? Squibs, even, especially ones from pureblood families? They're often disowned or marginalized, but they might know stuff, and they could help agents hide in the muggle world..."

"A few, yes, but progress with those groups has been slower. That was something I thought you could help with, actually."

She nods, thoughtfully. "With a lot of the magical creatures, you can fold in existing groups - though then you also get the 'they want to be independent' thing, and risk them being more loyal to each other than you... But with muggleborns you don't really have networks to co-opt and you have to recruit individually..." Pause. "I think. If the muggleborns have a secret network they haven't told me about it."

"I doubt it. There would be societal effects that are not present."

"True. Friend groups do exist, and there's any political lobbies, but - they're not secret networks stretching out over all of the muggleborns or anything."

"What we are mostly interested in is the younger generation, whose beliefs have not yet calcified. People you would know from your time at school."

"Graduates only, or do you also want to court current students?"
