The timer beeps. It's officially her third day.
She closes her coloring book and puts her colored pencils away.
She orders some Aphrodia juice and slurps it through a straw.
... mmmmm. Alright, time to take on the day.
"If I'm making you uncomfortable you absolutely don't have to do it, I'm just offering you the option."
Audrey comes in closer to Hannah and sits next to her at the bar.
"... Okay, give me a second to get my thoughts straight here."
"I mean, I know a bar that's like what you imagined, this is the Rose Bowers, if you want to drink to get drunk there are places. But most places aren't like that."
"I talked with people, I went out with a girl who hit on me, things were pretty cool. I didn't need alcohol to do any of it though."
"Why are you concerned about needing alcohol? Can't it just be a nice-to-have? I don't need chocolate either, but I still like having it in my life."
Audrey smiles. "Alright, let's say I do want to try a drink, hypothetically. Since I was so wrong about what bars are like maybe I'm wrong about what alcohol is like too. What would you recommend?"
"There is definitely such a thing as hot alcohol. Irish coffee, sake, mulled mead, hot cider..."
"... Let's say I just want your top recommendation for me specifically, as someone who's never had alcohol before."
"Then I'd recommend a hard apple cider for your first drink. It's sweet and rich and hardly tastes of alcohol at all."
"It does, a little. It's kind of a hot sensation, more obvious if you're drinking something harder like whiskey. There are a good few drinks that you'd barely notice they're alcoholic."
"You're a pretty slim girl, so you might be something of a lightweight; still, even then a single drink isn't likely to get you drunk. You'd probably feel some light effects though."
