The timer beeps. It's officially her third day.
She closes her coloring book and puts her colored pencils away.
She orders some Aphrodia juice and slurps it through a straw.
... mmmmm. Alright, time to take on the day.
"It's been nice talking to you, but I feel like I should explore more while I'm here. See you around?"
Hannah spots her coming up the stairs, and excuses herself from her conversation with a redheaded woman.
"I sort of already knew I was bi, but - it's different to be seriously presented with the option, you know?"
"I'd like to try again on my own. Maybe with more familiar territory. You don't have to stick around."
"I don't have anything else to do that's more important. I'll hang out."
"You could try Mia if you wanted, but I think she's a bit preoccupied with Luar. I don't see anybody else I know around, but..."
She walks over to the railing and surveys the crowd.
"I'm not going to point, but that woman downstairs in the white dress shirt and the black lingerie drinking her coffee alone, in the corner opposite the games? I think she's a good bet."
"Break a leg."
Hannah walks back to the bar and sits down next to her redheaded companion again.
She stands for a moment, fidgeting with the smooth wood of the balcony under her fingers, then walks along to the stairs down again, feeling the grain slide past. Down the spiral staircase and across the floor to the stranger, that's not so hard.
"H-hi," she asks. "Is this seat taken?"
