The foyer of the Rosethorn Hotel is deserted. A crisp white letter addressed to "Mm. Iron" sits on the front desk. There are no other signs of life.
December can have a roll of rockets. They're tiny, and kind of chalky, but maybe that's what she needs in order to be willing to accept any kind of treat. She eats them without complaint.
She lets out a tiny giggle as she feels it, and gently brushes her fingertips across her lips as she feeds them to her.
It's nice to feel Iron's fingers on her lips. She kisses them between rockets, and looks up at Iron with a besotted smile. "... This is good," she says. "I don't think I've ever done something like this before."
She smiles broadly.
"That's a shame - I understand the reluctance to go for something full-on sexual and indulgent, but it's good to make sure that you get taken care of, even if that's just something as simple as getting especially responsive wait service or getting a massage."
"There's... a level of luxury you get used to, as an exec. But it's not the same. It's not - close, like this. Do you - get it?"
"Yeah..."
She feeds her a few more rockets.
"I just think it's important to remember that you can get that closeness even without a giant crush and 'whirlwind romance', I suppose, and that there will be other chances, even beyond here, for this."
She smiles brightly once more, and keeps on touching her and feeding her, fingers trailing down occasionally to her shoulders and neck, massaging lightly.
They rest together like that, for a while.
"...Do you mind if I excuse myself to go grab a meal? I confess I'm a bit famished, now..."
She pets her head firmly.
"That's alright."
She gently passes her a menu, and looks through one of her own.
"I was thinking of going for chicken wings and fries, and perhaps a handful of more exotic soda options..."
"I think I want to try a fingerfood. Chicken nuggets? It seems dumb, but..."
She smiles softly, and produces some from the console, steaming with freshness, then gently feeds her her first one.
She giggles softly, and keeps on indulging her with the nuggets, occasionally offering ones dipped with the included sauce.
Of the included dipping sauces, December pronounces the sweet and sour the best. She's grinning from ear to ear.
She's definitely smiling affectionately as well.
"Sweet and sour is definitely excellent, though I have to say I really enjoy vinegar, on these, oddly enough."
"I'll try that if you'll get me some vinegar? It works for chips, I don't see why it shouldn't work here..."
Of course the bowers can do it!
The taste is oddly full, with the normal notes you'd expect of a chicken nugget and vinegar mingling together, and making it have a faint hint of the soggy texture and the pureness of the chicken's mixing in her mouth with the ordinary experience.
"Yeah - I admit that to a large extent it's my own particular tastes in the way it stimulates beyond anything else..."
She feeds her a sweet-and-sour nugget.
