"There we are."

Audrey smiles.

Some time passes.

Eventually, a motherly-looking lamia slithers up to the pair. 

"Is this the Trans and Intersex cuddlepile?"

"Yeah, come on in."

She drapes herself artfully over a long series of cushions. 

"Nice to meet you two. I'm Kelp."

"Kumi."

"Audrey."

"Glad to meet you. I guess I'm waiting for everyone to show before I start snuggling people. As you can see, I have a lot of snuggle to go around."

"Yeah, that long... tail? of yours looks cozy."

"Thanks."

Along comes another cuddler-to-be, a slight, androgynous catperson with black ears and a dark chocolate bar. "Hey all," they say. "Everybody here yet?"

"We're still waiting on some others, I think."

"I usually give fifteen minutes for everyone to show, yeah."

And sure enough, someone else shows up. A pair of someones, actually. 

The first is wearing conservative dress that reminds a bit of a regimental uniform; black slacks, black shirt, braided epaulets, ponytail. Their face is masculine but they're wearing hoop earrings. They have a swimmer's build, lithe and athletic without much built muscle. They're wearing an hourglass/flower pendant in full view. 

"Hello all, I'm Sunshine," they say softly, a twang of cowboy accent on their tongue. "Pleased to meet you folx."

"And I'm Lazrian," says their partner. Their skin tone matches, but Lazrian's presentation is much more bold and flamboyant. They're wearing a long dress that bares their abs, and one of their gold-ringed hands is resting on Sunshine's arm. "We're together."

"It's been fifteen minutes now, so everyone, name and pronouns?"

"I mean, we just got here. We both go by they/them."

"Alright, Lazrian, I'll let you pass on the names. I'm Kumi, she/her."

"Cocoa, he/him."

"Kelp, she/her."

"Audrey, she/her."

"Alright, now let's cuddle! Audrey's already pretty firmly in my lap, and I expect Sunshine and Lazrian, you'll want to be together? So then the question is where to fit in Cocoa and Kelp. Either of you two have preferences?"

"I can snuggle at least three people."

"I kinda wanna hug Lazrian."
