"I have a lot of life to give away. You have eighty years, give or take on most worlds. Eighty versus a thousand, the answer is easy. It helps that I love you, but..."
She coughs. "Alright, the list. It should be noted that this is a lot less than the OTC can actually do, it's just they want something that works in most worlds, which includes "looks like a human." To start with I'm just made of better materials. My bones are stronger and lighter than human ones, more like a bird's. My muscle is more densely packed than human muscle. I can see in black and white by starlight almost as well as in the daytime - you can spot the eyeshine if you're looking closely in the dark, it's something that I take precautions to conceal. I can control the length my hair will grow to, and its color, though that starts from the roots and takes time to change. I get finer sensory detail from most things - not range or volume, but more fidelity in what's there. Which I understand is a present from Greater Me and mostly for fun, though it's occasionally useful for tasks like lockpicking where very fine attention to detail is needed. I only need half as much food, water, air and sleep as a normal human, though I can choose to do more than my limit."
She touches her tattoos. "These give me a basic selection of spells, literally binding them to my skeletal structure so they're part of me and not the universe. The spells I have are Rite of Recall, Overland Flight, Make Whole, Levitate, and Prestidigitation. Rite of Recall is a lengthy ritual whereby I can vanish from where I am and reappear at any location I've been; it takes about an hour of preparations, it's a very crippled version of the greater Teleport. You take compromises when you're trying to fit everything into a human-sized package. Overland Flight is how I can fly; it's fast, close to engine speed I think, and controlled by thought. Make Whole lets me mend almost any broken device within a certain size limit. Levitate lets me pick up an engine and move it ten feet to the left if I need to; it's for clearing obstructions and making carrying heavy things easier, primarily. Prestidigitation is my proof-of-magic spell, it lets me make dancing sparks and ghostly flames and a host of other tiny effects. Good for starting a fire if you've lost your flint and steel."
She runs a hand through her hair. "I think that about covers it, though then there's the pendant and that's a whole other kettle of fish."
