"We do have a meditation chamber - of no particular denomination - if that would be useful."

"Yes, thank you."

She gives Daisy a questioning look when they get there, but goes inside alone when the droid doesn't respond.

Kalbetis seems mildly surprised by this occurrence.

It takes a bit for that to turn into an action, though.

"Is there something you wanted to speak with either of us about, Daisy?  Or expected we might wish to speak with you about?"

"Not especially, ma'am. Lord Pradnakt is struggling a little to trust you; seeing that I do will help her."

"I thought that might be what was happening."

"Yes ma'am."

It takes a little more than ten minutes for Pradnakt to come back out, but only a little. Her body language is noticeably more distant but she seems otherwise fine. "Where shall we do this?"

"If you would follow me, ma'am, we have things set up for you."

To the medbay!

(Medical, because they are as sneaky as the rest of Kalbetis' organization in an entirely different direction, has arranged for some longer-time-horizon patients that have been being stubborn about doctors' orders to be present for this demonstration of Force Healing.)

Darth Kalbetis herself, meanwhile, is fascinatedly observing what the heck Lord Pradnakt's Force presence is doing, and just about managing to follow Elcie while she does it.

To the medbay! It doesn't surprise her at all that they're sensible enough to get people who need the attention here for the demonstration.

In terms of her aura: One could analogize what she described herself doing before as shoving her self into a box; she's still doing that, but the box is approximately herself-shaped now, so it's much less impairing, if still constraining. The rest of the space is devoted to the Force, a quiescent lake of power, and then she tilts just so and lets it flow.

Hmm.  Well, it's working, but she thinks it could work better.  She'll bring that up after.

There is a trickle of Light flowing through her, compared to Pradnakt's lake of it, but...  Hmm, can she get the metaphorical angle right?

Oh dear.  That is her "Aha!  A puzzle!" body language, isn't it?  What has she found?

It's probably the Force stuff.

She and her Mistress really need to get around to testing some of their more esoteric ideas; being blind to the Force irks her even insomuch as she knows it was likely an immutable aspect of her condition once she came into being.

It's not particularly difficult to get the metaphorical angle right, now that Kalbetis has seen it done; aiming without constricting the flow is a little harder but only a little.

Meanwhile, everyone within Pradnakt's range is healed of everything from old injuries and other accumulated damage to the sore feet of a long shift.

...She had not been expecting, she thinks, quite this much depth of healing.  It feels as though a heavy weight has fallen away from her in moments.  As if the stress she has carried with her for so long has been unceremoniously eased from her shoulders.

...Given how rapidly and effectively Lord Pradnakt managed to kick the rest of her back into gear, though, she should've seen this coming even without a single bit of precognition.

She murmurs a "Thank you."

"'Welcome."

It is, somewhat unfortunately, a matter of moments before the gentle exhaling of tension in Kalbetis' posture finds that it cannot compete with the iron image that even now she feels she must project - but beneath that, something has eased.

"I have thoughts on that technique, now that I've seen it, and there are no further injuries to be healed."

She means that you can stop now, Elcie hides from prying eyes between herself and Kalbetis as she signs to Lord Pradnakt.  Also, thank you.

She nods and shifts in place, the movement coincidentally reminiscent of the sign for 'any time', and eases the healing off, though she doesn't let go of the odd Force posture yet.

Ah, yes, coincidences.  We don't do those here.

Kalbetis certainly doesn't know what Elcie's not talking about at all.

Anyway.  "Shall we perhaps preserve the masses from having to deal with ourselves talking abstruse Force theory?"

If you need or want to get out of here to let whatever you're still doing down, this is an excuse.

"If you'd like."

"I think I would, yes."  ...Her quarters are going to have to be as good as anyplace else, because now that she's thinking about it, neither of them would want to leave their better halves outside the meditation room, which just isn't quite big enough for four people even as it can probably fit two.

Pradnakt will follow wherever Kalbetis wants to lead her, within reason.
