"It's fine by me. Hinata?" She turns to the other girl, offering her the opportunity to comment.

{…Oh—oops—and I guess I should've asked you two, too, shouldn't I?}

{About the only thing I'm gonna object to is marching into the Hyuuga compound when we don't have good stealth figured out. Eating lunch outside sounds delightful, honestly.}

"Y-yes, I would enjoy that."

{If anything, I'd prefer eating outdoors.}

"Great!"

Naruto leads his companions out into the courtyard, then over to a tree in the corner of the area.

"I usually eat here," he says, jumping up and grabbing a branch.

"I haven't really sat with anyone in a while, but there should be plenty of room?"

He swings his body up onto the branch, and takes out a bento box.

Hinata looks up at the tree, then makes a short standing leap directly upward, landing elegantly atop a branch next to Naruto-sama.

Wow. He knows Hinata is a ninja(-to-be), but she's shy and reserved enough that he really wasn't expecting her to be able to move like that.

Good for her! Training together is looking more and more promising.

Sakura watches her companions for a moment, then steps back before running forward and up the tree, using her momentum to carry her further up than she could easily jump.

She jumps off the trunk and lands on a branch off to the side of the other two, slightly above them.

{Wow, I'm still getting used to you strengthening me like this, but it's a rush everytime I get to use it!}

And she, too, will take out her lunch.

Hinata takes hers out as well — rice, a few eggs sliced at elegant angles, strips of roast chicken, some onigiri, vegetables, all adding up to notably more than Sakura's used to eating for a typical lunch — and begins eating.

"W-what things were y-you planning to practice, after school today?"

{Aww, I'm just glad to help. Gotta protect my adorable host, y'know?}

{Also, maybe after the training plan discussion, d'you wanna talk with Naruto about the possible trans thing? Dunno if that's the kind of thing they'd wanna talk about around Hinata though.}

{Oh, good point. Probably better to bring it up when we're alone together.}

"I guess I was thinking we'd start by figuring out what we're all best at and where we're having trouble, and seeing if any of us can help the others where we're stuck.

Then, if there's time, I was thinking we could spar for a bit?"

Naruto begins eating. His lunch looks… kind of bad?

It's noodle-based, which is uncommon but probably fine, but aside from that it's just a jumbled mix of slightly-raw-looking vegetables, with a single egg in the corner looking overcooked and under-seasoned.

{...Is Naruto eating enough? Or the right nutrients? Inner, are you having doubts? I am having doubts.}

Hinata is perhaps frowning minutely in concern at Naruto's lunch.

{Yeah, that doesn't look like enough for him. We eat a lot more than that.}

They might have to talk about helping with that, yeah. Their mom would probably be willing to pack her kid's friend a better lunch, if they told her about it.

Sakura starts eating her own lunch, feeling slightly guilty about not sharing it.

Naruto continues to eat his lunch in relative silence, oblivious to the conversation being had about him.

Hinata, still frowning, passes Naruto an egg and two of her onigiri — one plum and one shrimp, it turns out. Her lunch looks a decent bit closer to Sakura's in size now.

{I think Hinata might help, if we asked, judging by that.}

"Oh wow, thanks Hinata!"

He immediately tries the shrimp onigiri, and grins in delight at the taste.

{Seems like it! At this rate, we'll have him eating enough by this time tomorrow!}

{Mmm, should we try to talk to Hinata about it before training tonight? I don't wanna do it in front of Naruto.}

She does her best to subtly communicate her own appreciation to the other girl with only her eyes.
