Verity takes a moment to think through the options she’s now been presented with. Maybe she shouldn’t be trusting Gaara so quickly but she’s new to this world and she has to trust someone. She also doesn’t have the energy to figure out where to go on her own (it is pretty late) and the first offer just sounds like the most straightforward.

“Thank you,” she replies. It’s a good thing that Gaara doesn’t want an explanation because Verity isn’t quite sure herself as to how she got here! “If you’re not uncomfortable having a stranger in your house, I think I like the first option best.”

"Yeah, it's fine. It's called being neighborly. Plenty would call me a fool, but a fool I shall be. Sometimes you just need a bit of sleep and deal with it tomorrow."

“Definitely, today has been a long day,” she nods and tentatively smiles at Gaara. “So, I asume you need to finish up your work.”

"It's just cleanup but yeah. A clean workshop is a professional one. Feel free to sit here while we finish up."

Absent any further questions, Gaara will nod and then go back to the rest of the workers, who have been glancing over curiously, and explain things while joining in and helping with the cleaning. People seem relaxed and cheerful, except for the guy who is sanding that looks like a partially finished table, who is kind of grumpy.

Gaara comes back over to her about fifteen minutes later. "Ready for some water and dinner?"

While Gaara is talking to the other workers, Verity will just… wait, feeling a bit awkward (when hasn’t she felt like that since showing up in this world?) and looking at any tools or projects near her.

And, when Gaara is back, she’ll smile and nod, “Very ready for it. Thank you again.”
